These videos are apart of a DVD sent to thousands of college pastors and churches around the country for the use of bringing awareness to the need of missions. Drew Performs at the National Religious Broadcasters Event! Drew performed today along with such great christian artists as Phillips, Craig and Dean, 33 Miles, Mark Harris, Laura Story, Michael English, and others for the NRB. This was the first time NRB featured Christian artist for the registrants at NRB in a showcase style but the event went great and I think they'll do this again next year. Worship Leader Magazine\'s National Worship Leader Conference. Drew will be leading and teaching at the conference held in Austin, TX from July 21-24 and will be busy with worship events around TX leading up to the conference. Drew Cline's vocal chops are so overwhelming, you find yourself wondering, "Where has this guy been hiding?" As the newest lead singer for the group Newsong, and as a session singer for numerous Christian artists, most musicians have known about Cline all along, but now with his major label debut, he comes out of hiding and the sun is shining on this gifted musician. Way of Life is a worship offering that textures itself in Christ centered sacrifice and guitar-driven proclamations that reveal the heart of worship in all aspects of life. As for congregational cuts, there are many, but the standouts include "You Are Holy" in its magnetic use of repetition offering sacrifice to God's spotless ways. The down-tempoed "Hope of All the Earth" highlights his soul-filled vocals and puts a near-classic-hymn cadence to this song of adoration of the Son. "... For me [worship] has been and will always be a way of life-an overflow of life. More than lyric and melody, but literally the song of how I live my life," says Drew Cline. And the good news is that that sentiment comes through completely in his lyrics and melodies.
